Update

Greetings gentle readers. I wanted to give everyone an update on my second book. I had wanted to have the book on sale for the Christmas season, however that is not to be. It is still being edited and giving time to finish and for any changes that need to be made, there is no way it will be ready until after the holidays. Hopefully it will go on sale in January or February. I apologize to those that have been waiting with great anticipation for the delay, but editing has taken longer than expected.

I think the wait will be worth it. My first book, “...the unclean spirit entered...” is my Magnum Opus, my second book is a murder story set in Lampasas County in 1903. It is action packed and highly readable. So, stay tuned for subsequent announcements.

A remembered tragedy.

Today is one of those dates that cannot be forgotten. President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas 60 years ago this day. Everyone says they can remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when the news was broadcast. If you have read my book, “...the unclean spirit entered...” you have learned where I was at the exact moment in time that I heard the news.

I have been watching several “documentaries” on Kennedy and I am appalled by the misinformation in these shows. It is a tragedy that his life was cut short, however, people tend to mythopoeia the man. Let us realize that he was not a good president. Kennedy condemned the participants in the Bay of Pigs battle after pledging his support. He almost started WWIII with the missile crises in Cuba and worse still, it was Kennedy that started our involvement in Viet Nam. A war in which 58,000 Americans lost their lives for nothing.

In fact the whole concept of Camelot is a lie. Kennedy was addicted to pain killers, he cheated on his wife like I go to breakfast and despite media coverage, he rarely spent any time with his children. Walter Cronkite who made a name for himself during WWII was a sad purveyor of this myth. His reporting during the war in S.E. Asia led to our leaving Nam in communist hands.

In short, remember the day and the consequences of his death. But do not create a myth for a poor president.

Insane Inflation

Greetings gentle readers. Sorry I am a day late and a dollar short. I am now spending in one week for groceries, what I was spending for a whole month. I really do not know how families are surviving this insane inflation. The excuse that retailers are having supply chain issues is wearing thin. If Biden and his minions are re-elected, I am going to have to consider leaving the country. I will not be able to live a decent life with my finances.

President Trump needs to be elected once more so that inflation will be curbed, our military will retain their superiority, and we can support Israel in it's war with Hamas in the Gaza strip. Any other election result will plunge the U.S. Into a depression and our enemies will know that Biden cannot keep us strong. I implore you, gentle readers, make the right decision at the polls for the future of our country.
