Greetings Gentle Readers,
Once more the government has screwed up what should be a simple transaction. I have an HO scale shay engine that runs on power supplied by a 3.7 volt LiPo battery. Understand that these batteries are used in laptops, RC models, and all matter of electronic gizmos. In the past, you simply went on line and ordered your batteries and proceeded to enjoy your electronics. That is no longer the case.
Our government wanted to once again fix a problem that does not exists. Ever since the introduction of LiPo batteries they were easy to obtain. As of January 1, you now have a limit of three batteries per order and they can be delivered only by UPS or FedEx. In addition, they have to be shipped in a semi-fire proof bag and the big one, they have to be shipped installed or with an electronic device the batteries will be used with. Thus, you have to buy an “extra” device that you probably have no need for to be able to have them shipped, increasing the price you have to pay. Totally ridiculous.
If our government would work on solving the many problems that plague our nation instead of focusing time and money to fix things that do not require any action, we would be able to make America great again!
