Greetings Gentle Readers.

The Supreme Court has ruled that individual states cannot remove a candidate from the ballot. This ruling is totally correct. Colorado tried to remove Trump from the ballot in the upcoming elections. The Supreme Court rightfully stopped this nonsense. Imagine a future whereby the majority party would simply remove any candidate from the ballot just because they do not approve of a candidate. To see an example you only have to look at the recent Russian elections where no opposition to Putin's reign was allowed on the ballot. I find that extremely unsettling. The voting public, ie. Registered voters are the only source of determining a candidate, not the majority party. Let freedom ring!

Greetings Gentle Readers,

Once more the government has screwed up what should be a simple transaction. I have an HO scale shay engine that runs on power supplied by a 3.7 volt LiPo battery. Understand that these batteries are used in laptops, RC models, and all matter of electronic gizmos. In the past, you simply went on line and ordered your batteries and proceeded to enjoy your electronics. That is no longer the case.

Our government wanted to once again fix a problem that does not exists. Ever since the introduction of LiPo batteries they were easy to obtain. As of January 1, you now have a limit of three batteries per order and they can be delivered only by UPS or FedEx. In addition, they have to be shipped in a semi-fire proof bag and the big one, they have to be shipped installed or with an electronic device the batteries will be used with. Thus, you have to buy an “extra” device that you probably have no need for to be able to have them shipped, increasing the price you have to pay. Totally ridiculous.

If our government would work on solving the many problems that plague our nation instead of focusing time and money to fix things that do not require any action, we would be able to make America great again!

Greetings Gentle Readers,

Hope everyone is well.

Today I want to discuss Vladimir Putin. Even though Russia is a socialist state with rudimentary democratic rule, it is in actuality under a dictatorship. If Putin wants to go to war, that is what Russia has done and thousands of deaths have resulted. If someone opposes his dictatorship, such as Mr. Navalny, you imprison him and ultimately kill him. Putin is an old KGB man and old habits die hard.

I f Russia truly wants to have freedom from oppression, they must stand up to and depose dictators such as Putin. If they do not, they will be living under a regime as oppressive as Stalin.
